Club weekends for April and May have been cancelled.

Annual membership subscriptions are due. Membership rates can be found here.
We are a friendly club composed of like-minded hillwalking enthusiasts of all ages and abilities, and work hard to maintain a sociable and supportive environment within the club. We operate a comprehensive programme of indoor meetings, monthly walks at different ability levels with organised transport, weekends away staying at bunkhouses and hostels all over Scotland, and training in key skills to ensure your safety on the hills.
Members also benefit from the opportunity to learn skills from more experienced members. If you are considering an outdoor challenge, such as the Three Peaks Challenge, ascending the Matterhorn, climbing Kilimanjaro, or just tackling Ben Nevis, we have members who can give you practical advice on equipment, planning and training.
There are other benefits from membership, such as discounts at leading outdoor stores, membership of Mountaineering Scotland (MS), and public liability insurance. You will find more details on the Membership Benefits page.
We welcome new members, so if you want to enjoy the hills whilst getting fit and having fun, please come and join us. You do not need to join the Club before your first walk, as we operate a “Try before you buy” policy - your first walk is free, other than the cost of the transport, so you can come along and see if you like us without commitment.
If you would like to find out more about the Club and its activities, please read the Information Pack.
